Wednesday, July 1, 2015. First day of Family vacation. We are on our way to Estes Park, Colorado to spend a week with my 2 brothers, sister in law, daughter and son in law. Looking forward to spending time with them all. Our day started off nice. Beautiful weather, not too hot. Enjoyed all the Crepe Myrtles along the interstate.

Saturday, August 08, 2015. As I began working with them again and getting some interesting results I wracked my brain trying to remember why I ever stopped working in colored pencils. The answer came just a few seconds later, Snap! Continuing with my project I observed an oddly familiar refrain. Sharpen, sharpen, snap, Damn it! The background is airbrushed with a mixture of Createx airbrush colors and Liquitex acrylics. The paper is Bristol smooth 100 lb.
